Oh lemme think...
I used part of Dragonair for the body, the spikes are from Delcatty, the eye is from suicune, the wavy things going down are from Milotic but the blue part I scratched, the top part of those is glaceon's ear, and the ones attached to her eyes are from... lemme think...
EDIT: Oh, I just remembered! They're from Chinchou!

kullenuska: I don't know what to say, kullen, other than... hot damn. First off, I love the creative uses you found for different parts, like turning gardevoir's dress into a cape, or incorporating all three face-spike-things onto different parts of the body. And not only was this done well, but it fits the theme perfectly. I've been staring at this for at least 15 minutes looking for something wrong with it, but I just couldn't find anything. I considered taking off points just because I didn't believe gallade and gardevoir were all you used, but I looked myself and found where every single part came from. Even the colors are justified. Just... wow. 48/50. I wanted to give you a perfect score, but a) you admitted it wasn't perfect, and b) I need to give the other competitors at least some sort of a shot, right?

The judges have discussed and decided that we've received enough entries, but that doesn't mean it's too late to enter. We've set a deadline at the beginning of Saturday, July 12th (meaning you have up to and including the end of July 11th to enter). After that, the judges will finish judging any last-minute entries, and then the winners will be announced.

"Winter Dragon", my entry for the Beauty branch of the contest. Used Pokémon: Swanna, Hydreigon, Haxorus, Lugia, Flygon, Kingdra Forgets about judging Remembers judging panics Great idea, mild splice. Wonderful colour palette, wintery and the bright blue of its fins round it off nicely. The smooth wings and tail are reminiscent of a thick snow cover. The proportions are considerably odd, however. Its body is very awkwardly shaped in regard to the flow of its design, the arms are way too low, and its head is tiny. A bit of a mane addition to that would flesh it out, maybe from Suicune, or Rapidash - or even relocate the Kingdra fins to the back of its neck and include Lugia's head crest. Otherwise it looks oddly stuck on to the neck - the line separating head and neck doesn't help. Flygon feet might not have been the best idea to go with, as well. Overall, it's an interesting idea, and the colour palette works excellently with it, as do the Swanna wings. A decent effort at 40/50. Also pilesofpixels! Your entries have all disappeared and will need reuploading - not via temporary tumblr uploads this time, as they disappear after a while. |
