Newcomer, here. Am I allowed to do custom spriting outside of existing sprites? I.E: Could I custom make a prop for my fakemon? Or am I required to stick just to what the game has provided? If this is something each judge can choose on their own I say fine for tough. |

What I do is mash as many parts as I can from existing sprites to make something close to what I want, and then scratch-sprite the rest of it if I can't find anything exact. Mostly I don't think people mind too much as long as it looks believable. |

In other contests you are allowed too, and in this one im pretty sure you are too, BUT its up to the judges to decide if it looks good and if they want to judge it with a high score |

HOW DID YOU KNOW MY TWO FAVORITE POKEMON ARE ABSOL AND EEVEE!!!!!! GAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAH I give it a 49/50 just in case another cuter thing comes around i wanna make sure it has a chance to beat this MASTERPIECE. |

Nonono, please don't. Accepting my abvee would violate at least two rules of the contest, since I already submitted an entry for Cute and since I didn't create this splice for the contest. I accept that I am not in a winning position for the cute contest, I was just bugging Makkilemore in a friendly way.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I call your attention to my splice, "Abvee and Shiny Abvee," originally posted June 19th, 2013: I rest my case. I OBJECT Your honor, direct your attention to the neck fur on either Abvee.  The defendant's splice contains part of the neck fur from Absol, while Scrap's does not! Furthermore, take a look at the colors.  Every color used by the two differs slightly except for #7!  The way the tail sits on the sprite is different too, as you can see.  The eyes on either splice show a coloring difference as well, with Makki just recoloring but Scrap going in there and manually changing them to match Absols! On a similar note, we have the feet. Absol has black claws, contrasting with the white fur on its feet. If we look at Makki...  His Abvee's feet carry that over. However with Scrap...  Nada. The defense rests, your honor. OH GOD what are we even trying to prove that the splices are different holy snap |
