Y'know earlier when this whole idea began, I was thinking of becoming a contestant at some point like some of the other judges have done. Now i'm kinda turned off by that because the contestants are so good XD

I have to admit, the contest took a different direction than I originally anticipated-- I thought it would feature a lot of traditional splices, with only two or three ingredients blended together to make something that still resembles the original parts. Then it became this thing about really elaborate splices that mostly look nothing at all like the Pokemon blended to make them.

Wow, it took me the whole school/work week to make one. That is not a promising start.  Anyway, here it is, a slug/muck monster sort of... thing. Inspired by heracross's antennae(?) that look like eye stalks. |

Hurm. The deadline for this contest has now passed also, and we've only got one entry from one contestant.
Between this competition and the last one, it seems like the end of summer has once again dragged down interest. I think perhaps it's time to wrap Iron Splicer up and put it on the shelf for a while.

pokemonscrapI think you should end the summer with an all-out iron splicer competition. letting whoever has the time to compete to participate, even if it's more than 2 people. although it'd be strenuous on judging i think so might not be a good idea. alternatively, you could put the wait list to the side and let it become first come first serve type of thing.
