What is your favourite book? And your favourite film?? YOU CAN ONLY PICK ONE >:I OKAY CETA WELL GOOD THING I ALREADY HAVE A SINGLE ANSWER FOR THIS ONE. IT'S "A Stranger in a Strange Land" - book that was part of my formative experiences philosophically as an adult. I would recommend it to everyone. It's a sort of hard read to get into (and get out of) but the struggle forces you to come to a deeper and more connected understanding of the world around you. And of the role of religion in everyday life, and society's many roles. OH ALSO MAGICAL ALIEN SUPERPOWERS. It's a Sci-Fi book. XD Film. Film... Uh. V for Vendetta. .....OR EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE I'M SORRY IT'S HARD TO PICK JUST ONE D:!!!!

Have you traveled outside of your home country? If you have, where have you gone? And which countries would you like to visit in the future? Ooooh, this one is a good one. I LIKE YOU. I've been to Canada, more specifically Montreal - for the Jazz Festival. One of the coolest musical experiences I've ever had. WOULD DO SO AGAIN. Canada is pretty chill, yo. Except I'd want to learn French if I go back to French Canada. I'd love to visit a bunch of the Eastern European countries in the future, like Georgia and stuff - I want to find their folk music, learn it, and take its ideas and make new music from it. I uh. I'm musically inclined? But I kinda just want to travel not as a tourist, but a stranger trekking through those countries and really getting to know what it's like. I WANT ADVENTURE... I WANNA BE A GYPSY...! I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST THAT NOONE EVER WAS *doo doo doodoo*

THIS THREAD IS ON FIIIIIIIIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS THREAD IS ON FIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE Zaxis, will you explain to me your taste in music? =_= Yes. So... I love music. Almost indiscriminately. I love jazz, rock, pop, hip-hop, funk, electronica, a little bit of rap and country even. And all kinds of crazy stuff. I EVEN LIKE THE SONG "SOMEBODY I USED TO KNOW". (i actually hate this song though) The general rule of thumb is that it has to activate one of my seven realms of emotional resonance: Ambition, Cunning, Viciousness, Beauty, Humor, Chill, and Trance. I guess. For example, agressive music falls under "viciousness" - stuff like Avenged Sevenfold and Coheed and Cambria. Ambition has stuff like battle themes from some video games, Iron by Woodkid, Power by Kanye West, and Seven Nation Army by the Black Keys. Cunning is really fun because it's got really obscure funk-pop-electronic fusion that makes me happy. So my "taste" in music varies greatly depending on my mood, and I spend a lot of time managing playlists to switch between based on my mood and what sounds I want to accompany my actions. Did you know that the Sonic Unleashed soundtrack is gorram AMAZING?! LIKE SERIOUSLY I LISTEN TO THAT STUFF ALL THE TIME. And I've never even played the game. Very jazzy but also sometimes funky and just, aaaaaah. The person who made that soundtrack deserves kisses from kind and attractive celebrities. But I don't really -love- jazz, because I have to play it all the time. It's just a hting that I have to do. My favored bands are many: Cake, Mute Math, Jamiroquai, Gorillaz, Chocolate Tiger, Zero 7, The Reign of Kindo, Daft Punk, Phoenix, Massive Attack, The Beastie Boys, Ani DiFranco, Jellyfish, Steely Dan, Nujabes, Endoxi I like a lot of stuff. >_> Oh and also The Lonely Island and Tenacious D, because they're funny. OH AND THIS GUY CALLED NoEmotion Goldmask, he's a humorous rapper dude ohhhhman. But basically, it's anything that makes me want to move, want to think, or want to laugh. And then I use my music major talents to analyze it and figure it all out. And ruin it for everyone else. XD TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR MUSICAL TASTES. For example, agressive music falls under "viciousness" - stuff like Avenged Sevenfold and Coheed and Cambria. Mama ZaxisSO YOU CAN LIKE BECOME THE TECHNOLOGY? Kinda like the one dude from Ben 10? The one alien. Uh. Uh. Upgrade, I think it was? BUT HEY I WAS JUST THINKING FLYING, BUT I LIKE YOUR IDEA BETTER. Also I have two more questions and probably a lot more. WHAT'S YOUR BIGGEST FEAR? And uh. What's your dream in life? Like what do you want to be when you grow up? Ooor what's the biggest accomplishment you want to achieve? YES I WILL BE THE TECHNOLOGY. I think it would manifest a little differently, but you've got the right idea. WELL I MEAN IF YOU HAVE TECHNOLOGY POWERS, YOU CAN USE TECHNOLOGY TO FLY!!! So yeaaaah... >: D Okay, so, my biggest fear. Usually I would say I HAVE NO FEAR NOPE NUH-UH. Which is pretty true, because I don't fear anything physical. Mostly, I think my fears revolve around the concept of rejection. Losing connections or progress due to the opinions of others. Being "stopped" by the opinions of others. Or people leaving me, not including me. It manifests itself in a lot of weird ways, like I'll get angry at my friends for going to see movies without me or going to events without me even though I AM invited, and just can't go. Or the chilling stab that I feel when there's something as meaningless as "I got some music artists mixed up" - though obviously I'll try to play it off like a normal human being. A lot of the time, it causes me to act a lot more self-centered and standoffish than is actually funny, because I want people to be brought closer to me. Obviously this does not work, but that's why it's a fear. It's irrational. I dunno if this is like, a unique thing or if everybody does this inherently, but it does count as my biggest fear. It also -feels- really intense for me, I might be a little bit more sensitive to it, but I'm not sure if that's ACTUALLY TRUE or just me trying to validate it logically. Ugh. That was a little difficult. MY DREAM IN LIFE IS TO BECOME THE BEST IT TECH/TRUMPET PLAYER THE WOLD HAS EVER KNOWN. Or to go into ethical hacking or computer forensics. Or to start playing the medieval instrument, the cornetto. But most of all, I want to live life having fun, doing whatever I can to affect the world positively. I ALSO WANT TO SPORT ROCK HARD ABS. I'LL GET THERE EVENTUALLY.

If you could be born of your choice of gender, sex, race, location, what would you choose? Half-Russian Half-hispanic Bisexual female living in French Canada. ...With blue eyes. I feel like it seems I put a lot of thought into this? But mostly I was just like "what's the most attractive and awesome person you can think of?" And I really do sometimes wish I could be female - being male is kind of lame but I make it work. And then I wish I was actually hispanic instead of looking hispanic, and Russian because, (communism is caring). Bisexual because it's not like it matters, and French Canada because it's better than America and whoa look at all the french-speaking attractive chicks. ...With blue eyes. Because blue eyes are the best eyes PROBABLY???

Mmmmm, okay. So, the short answer: PC The long answer: Computers are a type of multifaceted tool that allow for many different tasks to be accomplished in parallel. A tool is chosen based on the best applications of its form for the job. Now, Macs and PCs are two types of the same tool. In the past, this was not the case, as Macintosh computers (like the PowerMac) were varied greatly from PCs of the day (I don't remember using any PCs of those days so I don't have an example and I might also be wrong). Macs used to actually have GAMES made for them, crazily enough. And they had just enough going for them to make them a good standardized workplace tool. Today, Macs operate on a dynamic of "simplicity of design" to a point of abstract flashiness. They work for a lot of people, I agree. They are secure and reliable, and extremely functional. Easy to set up, easy to use. Not easy to configure for extreme personalities, such as myself. Any PC allows a lot more freedom for customization. On the far side is Linux and its ilk, which allow for nearly pure control of the entire toolset it provides. It takes a bit of knowhow to get these to work, though. I stick with Windows because there are a lot of tools and features developed not only in the operating system, but the community that revolves around it, that allow for a wide range of custom-tailoring. That being said,I need my entire computer to be orange, to automatically arrange my windows, and to have the correct connection ports. So yeah, PC.

Mama ZaxisSo it's basically kind of like... The fear of being rejected or left alone? Because I kind of have that too in a sense. I kind of have this fear around new people that I won't be good enough or will come off as odd to them and will be judged. Then there's the fear around people I already know that I might say or do something that'll make them think I'm odd or something and they'll just kinda up and go. SO I GUESS I HAVE MONOPHOBIA? Aka the fear of being alone/left alone? {Oh and.}TF2 is my drug because I have 1,000+ hours on it. I need help.

I LOVE YOU FOR THE JOKE YOU JUST MADE THERE. I've had a Take 5, pretty good but not my favourite. BUT I DON'T NEED A TOP 7 TO TELL YOU WHAT IS: 1. Reese's Dark Chocolate 2. Licorice (black more, but also red) I absolutely loooove the combination of dark chocolate and peanut butter. I would probably do anything for that stuff. And licorice is almost addicting to me. @_@ I could buy one of those gigantic tubs of those and just EAT IT ALL and get fat. ;_;

I find it funny though like " they'll just kinda up and go." You'll be talking to someone and you think that they're just like *stands up silently* *walks out of the room* IS THAT WHAT YOU FEAR?!?! But I'd say that mine borders more on agoraphobia, fear of lacking escape, manifested in some weird way where I fear being unable to escape how someone feels about me. A lot of social situations make me uncomfortable because I won't know how to escape them easily, and really don't feel good about being labeled. Judging is fine, but labeling is horrifying to me. I lose control over my direction. And if people leave me behind, I can't control that, I'm trapped in it. And that's nooooo good. NO GOOD AT ALL
