HOW DOES THIS GAME NOT HAVE A THREAD. Like, there's so many reasons to play it! 1. It's Pokemon. 2. THEM FEELS THO 3. It's got a different playstyle from the original Pokemon games. 4. You play as a Pokemon! 5. The Plot is amazing. Anyways, if you haven't played this, PLAY IT OR I WILL STUFF YOU IN A FREDDY FAZBEAR SUIT.

I played Blue Rescue Team on an emulator, and even teared up at the ending. I tried to play the post game too, but got frustrated really quickly and gave up.

I played Explorers of Darkness. I cri every time. But seriously. It was the second pokemon game I ever played, and I love the hell out of that thing. I also.. Also... GOD DANGIT. THOSE TIME GEARS. WHY DO YOU REMIND ME OF THIS. I THOUGHT I HAD BEAT IT ALL AWAY. CAUSE YESTERDAY ALL MY TROUBLES SEEMED SO FAR AWAY I BELIEVE IN YESTERDAY And just so you all know, Explorers of Sky had an even better plot. I ran downstairs to grab my games (Darkness, Sky, and Blue Rescue Team), and I'm just about to ignore the fact that I have homework and pick Sky back up. Even though I think I just about beat everything, and was just doing Dojo runs. Nonetheless... *many tears*

I have so many headcanons about these games. My favourite is the most fleshed out and I drew some stuff about it, heads up for a long-winded garble about THINGS
The partner Pokemon is a Piplup named Areion, who is blind. Taken care of by the treasure town Kangaskhan, he often wandered on the beach alone because it was where he felt safe and not fawned over. Because of Kangaskhan's constant overbearing mother status, he wants to be able to explore but can't on his own, so wants to join the guild. However, he doubted he would be accepted because of his blindness. Cue the main, Riolu - Echo, appearing on the beach one day. Areion finds him, touches him to see if he's alive, and the Riolu's aura powers flash this brilliant image across the Piplup's vision. It's all black but the outline of everything is vivid and glowing. Cue this newfound ability, the two join the explorer's guild. This can also be coupled with some of the events in the game - Areion can see when touching Echo, but can only see things that are physically there. This means, illusions and dreams/nightmares don't exist in his vision. The others can say that Groudon is there, but he can't see it because it's not real. The other part of this story is that humans aren't real. Echo, therefore, was never human, but instead traveled with Halcyon the Grovyle, as a Lucario. When the time tunnel went haywire, he was reverted back to Riolu form, as if his lifetime were reversed completely. This means his memories of all of the things he did previously were unraveled, rather than a human becoming a Pokemon, which is harder to explain. Because he has no memories of being a Pokemon from the future, therefore, he is allowed to return to the present timeline post-game.
...also I played through Darkness a few weeks ago, starter Pokemon are at 88 and I've beaten everything post-game. Run out of stuff to do :I

Did someone here play Gates of Infinity? I personally think that they really messed this game up Its not a bad game, but some details are missing. Like being able to do more than one job at the time and so on I really hoped that the 3DS game would be as great as the first and second game, but unfortunately it didnt. I hope that the next one will be good again (I hope there will be one), because they also added some cool things, and if they would combine it with the good things of the previous games, ...that would be a cool game.

I was so excited to hear about it when it first came out because it had a Dunsparce as a main character but .. if they mashed up the game mechanic then that's no fun at all. It's like MD1 where you have to reconstruct your team every time you go somewhere.. Hopefully the storyline was just as good as the last two, though!

Yeah, the story isnt too grand either. The 3DS installations of other sub-series of popular franchises (i.e. Paper Mario Sticker Star, Maro & Luigi Dream Team) seem to care more about doing something different rather than actual quality control as well :V
