So apparently people want one of these A splicedex! For the forum! [crowd wows, oohs, and aahs] The basic way this'll go is we all claim some dex numbers and splice things to fit! They've gotta be a certain type, and some of them need to follow a certain theme. For example: 001-003, 004-006, and 007-009 are Grass, Fire, and Water starters respectively. After that, there needs to adjacently be a family of Bugs, a family of Normal types, and a family of Flying types. From there until spot 25, we put in early game mons, all found before the first cave. Spot 25 is our Electric Rodent. After that, 2-4 families of Pokemon found in that first cave. One of them must be Rock, Ground, Ice, or Steel type and would reoccur in later caves. After that we get to go wild. Along the way we should have some dualities and version exclusives and maybe an eeveelution. Then maybe some dragons, then a Psuedo legendary, then a bunch of awesome legendaries, and then our cute legendary. The dex so farThe dex has 120 slots, by the way.

Now do you have to claim in order or can you just claim any random number? Because I've got something neat that wouldn't belong in the first 25/cave

A couple other questions. Do you want them to look like they actually were spliced with something, or would you rather they actually look original? Examples of the two: Also, would you like someone to draw fanart of the 'mons from our dex?

Examples of the two: Also, would you like someone to draw fanart of the 'mons from our dex? I want them to look like splices, with legendaries as the exceptions. Fanart would be nice but not necessary for any reason Now do you have to claim in order or can you just claim any random number? Because I've got something neat that wouldn't belong in the first 25/cave After the first 25/cave the numbers are kinda random, but I would like you to pick random numbers. If we get a conflict I'll push everything one number forwards/backwards. Remember, the later a mon is available the later its number, and usually the more unique it's typing and design. I'll make an Eeveelution, but which number it's going to be? Well, Leafeon was the 83rd Sinnoh pokemon while Umbreon was the 45th in Johto and Sylveon was the 50th in Kalos. If it was my call... 65 is a pretty place, if its one eeveelution. 98-100, Two evolution and a basic mon, the main dragon of the game i suppose, such as dragonair and crap Go for it

I'd like to tackle a pseudo-legendary line at about 108-110, if that's alright (Unless we want more than 10 legendaries).

I'm calling 7-9. I'm gonna make dem water starters. nope nevermind im not taking those slots, I cant do it. Also, can we stick with that unwritten rule (that chespin broke) that fire types are animals from the zodiac, grass types are reptiles, and water types are animals that live their lives on both land and water?

Eh, adding in limitations is kinda eh. If people wanna do it I'll let em, but I won't force it.

Actually, the grass pattern is evolution. Gen 1 & 2 were dinosaurs.. Gen 3 was a reptile.. Gen 4 & 5 were like land creatures or some crap. And gen 6 is mammals.

#108: Larvum Steel/Ground Dex: A Pokémon born deep underground. It eats iron to strengthen its magnetic pulses, readying itself for evolution. #109: Pupitang Steel/Rock Dex: Formed when two Larvum collide and absorb one another. Its metallic shell is extremely tough. #110: Bangiross Steel/Dark Dex: It uses magnetic powers to rupture the landscape. Its intelligence exceeds all calculations.

I couldn't pick a gen, but here's our basic bird. Gonna work on the evo. EDIT: Evo is here. There may be brief technical difficulties with the first while I swap it out for an indexed *.png with a smaller file size. Photobucket is a bit of a pain re: replacing files.
