Will there be shinies or would that be extra work No shinies. I believe the game will actually be made in RPG Maker, so it's going to take a while to make a full on Pokemon Engine.

I made the grunts for one of the Villianous teams in the game, Team Tenebris! There will also be Team Lux but the other spriter will be working on all the light related sprites.

Depending on the version of RM, the coder could code in shinies, just by editing the already-present code that generates the random battle's enemies... I mean, if your project has a coder, that is. A coder that knows Ruby scripting. If you have one of those.

(And I mean general as in barebones since many things have not been fully chosen yet ) The main makers of the game (The coder and the writer) Said that Dark and Light pokemon will be left as is even if a shiny feature is introduced. This is due to the fact that Me and the other spriter have to do about 2800 sprites (roughly 1400 each)
