So, quick question about the 'Requests' area of the forum. Is there going to be one large masterthread in there? Or will individual users create their own, smaller threads in which people can request things? I'm assuming the latter, but I just want to make sure before I make a thread.
Also, I'd suggest having a 'master' thread where people can just ask for splices if they don't want to ask a specific user. I'm not really sure on how the specifics would work, but it seems like it could be helpful for people with less active splicing threads to get more attention. Not that there are any at the moment, but in the future of the forum.

The latter will be true, but if others would like a master thread, that's definitely something we could do. For now, we'd like to encourage people to start their own threads.

Oh whilst I'm here I think I just noticed a small problem with the colour scheme.
The links at the top of a thread which let you go back through the subforums. As in, this thread has 'ThatSplicingForum :: General :: Announcements :: ThatSplicingForum Technical'.
The problem is, the background means that the links are pretty difficult to notice-the only reason I noticed is that I was actively looking for it. If possible, maybe just add a solid white background to that bit of the text?

ALRIGHT.
Here's what I did, if anyone's interested:
Made a new wallpaper out of the old one
Added a transparent overlay to the new wallpaper to make text more legible over it
Changed the font to Comic Sans (Sam screamed at me for that)
Changed the font to Impact
Changed the font to Arial Black
WE COOL BRO?
Any other suggestions/issues, anyone?

Oh wait no, this computer seemingly doesn't have Arial Black as a font?

ceta I'm not actually sure whether or not we have spoilers? I took our rules from bulbagarden, and it wasn't until after the fact that I realized that they run on a different (and better) forum than us. So I guess wait for Zaxis to confirm this or not.

Question, Mama Zaxis and Samson, I was wondering if there should be maybe another board added into the Pokemon section? I was thinking it'd be fun to have a pokemon trade section, with friend codes and such? Either that or a misc. section, where people can talk about things not relating to the games or anime (merch, music, etc), where people can ask if they want to trade?? (I'm leaning towards a misc. section myself, it covers a wider topic, but whatever you guys think is best (even if thats not changing the boards at all c: )) |
