YOOO. This is hype! Thank you! And I absolutely agree on the critique: the last one was just an unabashed rip off of Yuefoh since I was scrounging for ideas. The satyr used just the front and back facing tails and the colors from Vulpix, so I really could have used more of the pokemon. I was going for a bright contrast, but I totally see how it's a bit too flagrant. Plus the tails did have some wonky outlining issues now that I notice it. The stripes were tossed on since the body looked so plain without them,but I totally agree on the points!
I'm so willing and wanting to go another round! Plus Phoenixmoon did an amazing job, and I'm really hyped to get to splice with another great splicer!

Alrighty then, let's get these first two out there!  First is some kind of nudibranch/sea slug thing. The tufts on Misdreavus' head looked like a great shell thingy and it gave a great, natural flowy look  Next is a fairy thing! Again, those tufts made a great flower looking dress and arms. And here comes number three! I don't exactly know what I was going for, but Misdreqvus' hair thingies work great as claws, tattered edges of coats, and as, well, hair.  Fourth and final! With Skullgirls on the mind I ended up making this curvy Sarlacc pit headed thing. Misdreaves' head made the hips and figure, and the hair thingies make that opening on top!  |

Well, it's been a heck of a contest. But you aren't interested in my thoughts... you want the scores! Pilesofpixels
Splice #1: 29/40"A bit bland compared to the others, but still pretty well-executed. The only thing I'd have done differently would be the colour scheme." "Original and nicely put together." Splice #2: 26/40"The proportions and perspective are a little odd." "Cute color scheme but somewhat disproportionate in the wing area. Points for making a completely original splice." Splice #3: 37/40"Favourite out of the bunch. It reminds me a bit of a ghost pirate of some sort." "I love this monstrosity." Splice #4: 30/40"This splice is successful on every level." "This just looks really strange, and not in a good way." Whole Collection: 30.5/40"You used the Misdreavus parts pretty creatively." "The fourth splice really brings everything together." Okay, who made the first "whole collection" comment? Because I was sure to use every part of the secret ingredient. And it wasn't easy considering misdreavus is 15% face and 70% hair.
I also can't believe the splice I was least proud of was the one that got the highest score and the one I was most proud of got the lowest.
