Iron Splicer!

I honestly don't mind either. I do prefer that kullen goes another round and actually have a full competition, go out in a last hurrah and such.

Sorry about the delay in getting these results to you all. My broken computer has been replaced with a slightly less broken one!

A difficult challenge for both competitors, but the results were impressive nonetheless. As you will recall, each judge gave a score out of ten to each splice, and to the collection as a whole. To protect the anonymity of the judges' scores, I give you the scores as a total out of 40. The contestant with the highest total score is the winner.

Without further ado, here are the scores for Battle: Ferrothorn, along with a selection of the judges' comments:

Splice #1: 33/40
"Oh hell, that's really impressive. Not really my personal favourite out of the bunch, but the highest rated one nonetheless because of the sheer skill involved."
"Pretty good rendition of that art piece. The horse looks great but the human looks a bit wonky to me. I do like the shading though."

"My favourite out of the bunch. I love the idea of legendary counterparts like that, and I hope to see more of this idea."
"Creepy, strangely cute."

"It looks like a believable variant of Torterra, and that's really neat. The perspective on the vines seems a bit strange, but that's about it."
"I love everything about this splice. The shading really catches my eye."

"A warrior-like splice is almost always good in my book, and this is no exception. The anatomy could use some work, though."
"Sword's being held a bit weirdly but I absolutely love the shield and overall look of the splice."

"Even when working with this difficult ingredient, you continue to show excellent work. I personally am in awe."
"Normally I'm not a stickler for not seeing too much of an ingredient in sprites, but I legit had to TRY and find them in ALL of them."

"Nice idea, but the details need some work."
"Eh, a bit generic. I'd give it a higher score if the "cracks" in the main body didn't look that strange."

"Cute but simple. I really like that pixelated text though."

While the rules state that a winner can continue to defend up to five consecutive wins, the consensus of the judges seems to be that a win against an incomplete collection is not suitable for the capstone win of a streak. As a result, Kullenuska can return for one more challenge, to be sure to go out on a high note.
