The time has come! Welcome once again to the splicing arena for the pixel-popping, Pokemon-pruning adventure that is... Iron Splicer! In this challenge, the unprecedented four-time winner Kullenuska takes on a newbie who has been champing at the bit to try his luck, Okami! It is sure to be a memorable contest. You know the rules. Each contestant has one week to produce a collection of four splices each featuring one Secret Ingredient. Four judges will award points to the splices and to the collection for their quality, their creativity and their variety. Kullenuska, Okami, your very own Iron Splicer adventure is about to begin! Ferrothorn is hell. Larvitar ain't got nothing on this lumpy plantpot.  My first entry uses Omastar, Rapidash, Larvesta and a trainer's cape and hand from BW2(I have no idea who it is); spikes, chunks and colouring from our unloved iron plant friend there, to recreate... this. aka you can't even tell there's a lot of pieces of ferrothorn because i shaded them into oblivion PEW curses instead of wishes  a dogrose Torterra!  CAN YOU SEE HOW MUCH I CARE ABOUT SPLICING RIGHT NOW i dont want to touch ferrothorn again i could have done so much more but it's just A DISC OF METAL BEATEN SO THINLY YOU BREAK THROUGH THE PIXELS AND THERE'S NOTHING. A BLACK HOLE OF DESOLATION AND DESPAIR SO HOLLOW AND BARREN YOU LOOK INTO ITS EYES AND KNOW THAT THERE IS NO SOUL BEHIND IT. MY LAST SPLICING IDEA LITERALLY CRACKS OPEN THAT HUSK OF SHEER DISAPPOINTMENT AND USES IT AS A SHIELD THAT WOULDN'T EVEN BLOCK A SAD THOUGHT LET ALONE AN ENEMY ATTACK. I AM SO DONE |

I'm sorry to say that my computer is presently broken, so there may be a delay in getting scores to people. I see Kullenuska has already got an entire collection posted, so well done there! Okami, please be aware that any submissions received more than 90 minutes from now won't be accepted. Judges, once the contest is concluded please send me your scores as usual-- just be aware that it might take me a couple of days to tabulate them and wrap up the competition.

I know i know, i really dont wanna forfiet but i just thought i people usually had more time, plus i procrasinate and shit. Ugg i wish i could have done this, ill see if i can post 2 by tonight, ive half done the first and half done the second just gotta color them, im not gunna have 4 by today tho, but ima still post the 2. I lost anyways, kullen is a beast and hers a fucking amazing |

Given that, and given that there's functionally no chance that his two splices would be able to win this round, it seems only fair that we at least give him a score for those two splices. Judges, when you send me your scores, please include scores for Okami's two splices. 2) My strong preference for the sake of consistency and fairness would have been to call this Kullenuska's fifth win and celebrate it as such, but since Lavatarorigin is just as senior a judge as myself, I don't want to contradict him on this. I'd like to consult with the other judges to decide what the appropriate thing to do is at this point.
